Dear Parents,   Your child will have a one off swimming lesson next week to prepare them for their Terms 2 & 3 Swimming lessons. The 3N swimming lesson will take place on Tuesday 4th December  so please ensure your child packs: ·         BIS swim trunks or swimsuit ·         Towel ·         Goggles As this lesson will be in the afternoon, please do not ask them to wear their swimsuit under their uniform. If your child is in Beetles or Tigers group for spelling, apologies they were given the wrong words this week. They were tested on the words they should have had and therefore did not learn them. I asked them to do their best. Hopefully we won't get them mixed up again.

Trip to the Ho Chi Minh Musuem of History and Culture.

On Friday we prepared for being paleontologists. Ms Andrea asked us to imagine that a chocolate chip cookie was a rock and the chips were fossils. Using a toothpick we carefully chipped away to get the chips out. It was surprising how difficult it was. We had people saying: 'Ah, my cookie broke', 'I can't get it out', 'It takes so long'. In a nut shell, we learnt that the job of a paleontologist is not an easy one!

Next week we will actually go on a dinosaur dig for bones using paleontology tools.
