Happy New Year!

We got the year off to an exciting start today. We began our new topic on 'Paintings, Pictures and Photographs' or 'Visual Representation' as it it sometimes called. The children visited our Year 3 Art Gallery which is set up in the corridor. They had to look at the paintings and find interesting things about them as well as looking at colours, media used and thinking about who made them. In pairs they then chose the three they found most appealing and sketched and wrote about them. Tomorrow they will find out who painted or made these art works.
